TVXQ Smile Again

This fan meeting will be titled "Smile Again" and will be hosted by Yes24; it will take place on the 12th at 5 PM (KST) in a gymnasium in Korea University. Over than six thousand fans are expected to fill the bleachers to see these three boys once again.

Optional entrance fees will be collected from the fans during the event, and all the money will be donated to the charity for children. The trio has also agreed to this donation, and decided to earn no profit out of this event.

Unfortunately, the trio will not be attending under the name of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki for this meeting, but just their individual names of Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun. They have decided the team name should not be mentioned, since the rights to use such title are fully reserved to all five members, and not just three. JaeChunSu will also not be singing any of the TVXQ songs during the meeting, due to the possibility of sparking another dispute over their rights to. Instead, the event will be filled with carol singing, and mostly interacting directly with the fans.

A representative revealed,

The date and location have been confirmed, however the time and the schedule of the event can be changed. Exact information will be arranged as soon as the three members arrive back in Korea from their activities in Japan.

The tickets for Smile Again will be available through Yes24's official homepage on the 8th starting from 8 PM. The price is free, however there is a limit of only one per person.

8Eight’s concert on 30th - 31st 2009

The concert will start December 13th at the CGV Art Hall, and will be a "Winter Garden Relay Concert". This means that 8Eight won't be the only performers, they will have a single concert on December 13th, and then the lineup will change to Lee Hyun Woo, performing on the 19th - 20th, then to SpringSummerWinterFall performing on the 24th - 26th, then finally to Kim Hyung Joong, who will be performing on the 30th - 31st.

At this concert, 8Eight will throw away their ballad status and party it up with upbeat rock and dance songs. They have not shown these types of performances to the public, so many are highly anticipating what they will bring to the table.

Big Bang and TVXQ receive the Gold Artist Award

On the Best Hit Song Awards 2009 aired through Japan TV on the 26th, two of Korea's favorite male idol groups received the Gold Artist Award. They were none other than Big Bang and TVXQ.

This has actually been the second time for the senior TVXQ boys to claim this glorifying title, whereas it's a first for the rookie Big Bang boys who only debuted in Japan five months ago.

As many already know, TVXQ is still twisted in a dispute with SM Entertainment regarding their unfair contracts. Due to this reason, the special stage for this event was extra special for the fans who have waited a long time to see the five boys come together as one again. U-Know Yunho expressed during rehearsal, "I really want to go up on stage. I am very happy to be awarded the Gold Artist Award."

Nichkhun 2PM has landed himself a part in the upcoming comedy “The Shining Diploma“. The movie tells the fictional story of mother who never graduated high school and returns to earn her diploma right as her son begins his wedding plans. Nichkhun 2PM will play the role of the mother’s second son.

The film’s production team revealed that Nichkhun 2PM was chosen for the role due to his ” unique facial features” (…their words not ours). The team also stated that the idol will show audiences a very charismatic performance, a far cry from the the sweet image that he often shows on variety shows like “Star King“.

Khun’s boss JYP will also be making a special cameo appearance in the movie. Filming for “The Shining Diploma” will begin in December.
